Imagine lounging in an exquisite stateroom aboard a luxury yacht where classic style and comfort swathe you in luxury-a unique overhead ceiling design bathes you in a pool of ambient light. This described sensation is captured superbly in the dramatic interior of this Marathon show coach. This ultra-spacious quad-slide Prevost H3-45 "M" series coach combines the classic styling of a private suite with a bold ceiling design.
Complementing the breathtaking ceiling is a spacious interior designed by Marathon Interior Designer Jennifer Clausen, which exudes the florid old-world charm one might expect in a stately library. Dark wood plank floors accentuate stunning architectural molding, from the wood valances and raised panel, hand-finished, maple veneer cabinetry with solid maple accents and doors-some with ornate, hand-carved posts-to the wood scrollwork on the cockpit door panels and dash. Warm shades of brown and cream in the stylish fabric sofa, an oversized reclining chair, and an ottoman create balance and drama. Classic elegance continues in the bath and bedroom suite with antique brass and bronze fixtures highlighted by a granite water closet and bath.
Not only is there abundant storage in this coach, there is also ample room, evidenced by the bedroom suite's built-in dresser, extra-wide bench seating, and the unique double-sink vanity. "The double sinks give the coach a modern residential feel," Clausen said. "The classic lines of the cabinetry accentuate the framed mirrors and sconce lighting to provide each individual with their own luxurious space."
